After 20 years in the residential maintenance and remodeling
industry, my real estate business began in 1998 when I obtained my Georgia real estate agent license. Along the way I
decided to start my own real estate investing company and began to buy and re-hab houses. I love the way I can
buy a house that may be in really bad condition from someone who really needs to sell it, make it something beautiful that
the neighborhood will appreciate and helps the seller out of his or her predicament. Business is best when it's
a win-win situation.
If I can help people with their real estate problems and be able to support my family in the
process, then I consider my business a success. Some real estates investors say that being a licensed real estate
agent hinders them in their business by having to disclose their license and follow rules that apply to licensed agents
but not investors. I believe that having my license not only adds accountability, but also credibility. I demand
that all my business dealings be so far above reproach that I welcome the rules and oversight of the Georgia Real
Estate Commission.
